Apply for an Event Scholarship Now
We never want finances to be the reason a student misses out on growing in their faith. If you’re planning to attend a youth event, camp, or mission trip and need financial help, we’re here to support you.
How It Works
To receive scholarship assistance through our Student Ministry, students must:
✅ 1. Complete the Online Application
The form includes:
- The event you’re requesting help for
- Why you’re requesting financial assistance
- How much support you’re requesting
✅ 2. Attend a Worship Service at Forks
Before your event, plan to attend one Sunday morning worship service at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church.
- You may do this anytime between scholarship approval and your event.
- Check in with JT before or after the service — he’s typically in the foyer or sanctuary.
- If you’re unable to attend in person, please contact JT to make alternate arrangements.
✅ 3. Work at Least Two Fundraising Events
Students receiving scholarship assistance are expected to give back by helping at two fundraising events.
These may include:
- Concession stands
- Church dinners
- Yard sales
- Other student ministry fundraisers
Once approved, you’ll receive a link to sign up for events, or you can contact JT directly at james@forksbaptist.org.
✅ 4. Submit a Thank You Letter
After your event, please submit a thank you letter addressed to the church.
- Due within two weeks of completing your event
- You can either:
- Email it to james@forksbaptist.org, or
- Mail it to:

⚠️ Important Notes
- Last-minute cancellations of your event may affect eligibility for future scholarships.
- Scholarships may be partial or full, depending on the event and financial need.
- You’ll be notified of your scholarship amount once your application is reviewed.
- All scholarship steps must be completed in order to receive future assistance.
