God’s Appalachian Partnership (GAP) helps parents in need in eastern Kentucky give their children quality gifts each Christmas. This is a churchwide opportunity to sponsor a child for $43.
In December, one of GAP’s warehouses becomes a toy store where parents and guardians choose gifts for their kids to open on Christmas Day, and children pick out gifts for their parents in the Parent’s Store. Volunteers help the children shop and wrap while their parents enjoy snacks — and share the story of Christmas with every family along the way.
Of each $43, $40 buys gifts and $3 provides a GAP Christmas ornament for each family. Sponsorships are tax deductible.
