- How difficult is it to come to Church when we are “crippled by a spirit?” What was the woman’s issue in the scripture? Why do you think she came to the synagogue that day? What is something that is crippling you? Where should we go or who should we go to when we are hurting?
- What did Jesus do when he saw the woman? Do you think that Jesus sees you? In order to be set free, this woman had to be obedient and come forward. She stepped out in faith. Can you share an experience of stepping out in faith?
- Jesus touched the woman and she immediately straightened up. When we are touched by Jesus, we are never the same. Can you share an experience when you were touched by the power of God? What did the woman do after she was set free? What about you? How did Jesus respond to the synagogue leader’s anger? What should our expectations be on our Sabbath or Lord’s Day?
