Tomorrow’s Firecracker Fellowship is going to be a blast — and we’ve made a plan to keep things comfortable in the heat.
Live music is provided by Intrepid Ensemble, a cover band playing classic pop/rock, country, and jazz. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram (@IntrepidEnsembleKY).
The meal is free and served inside. On the menu: Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Chips, and Ice Cream.
Outside, we’ll have a shaded tent with large fans to help with airflow, and plenty of bottled water on ice. The Fellowship Hall and CROSS Center will both be open all evening if you want to step in and cool off.
Plan to bring your own outdoor chair for under the tent, along with any personal fans or cooling items you’d normally pack for an outdoor game or a day at the beach.
