Roadrunners is a fellowship ministry for senior adults and retirees who enjoy spending time together, visiting interesting places, and sharing Christ-centered fellowship along the way.

The group typically gathers once a month, usually on the third Tuesday, for a day trip or lunch outing. Throughout the year, Roadrunners visits a variety of destinations including restaurants, local attractions, tours, and occasional overnight trips. New participants are always welcome.

You do not have to be a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church to participate. Friends and guests from the community are welcome.

About Roadrunners

Roadrunners includes a mix of couples and singles, most of whom are retired, and retired adults of all ages are welcome.

The group gathers once a month, usually on the third Tuesday, for a day trip or lunch outing. Most trips depart from the church by bus.

In addition to the monthly outings, the group also takes one short trip and one longer trip each year.

Roadrunners is led by Shawn Sherwood, who travels with the group and helps coordinate the trips along with a team of volunteers.

Trip details and pricing are shared ahead of time so participants can plan. If cost is ever a concern, participants are welcome to speak with Shawn Sherwood or the church office.
