Planning an Event

Whether you’re hoping to host a family gathering, celebrate a wedding, or plan a community activity, this page will walk you through how to request the use of our facilities. Below you’ll find details about general events, weddings, and CROSS Center reservations.

Host a General Event

We’re grateful to share our church facilities with members of our congregation and community. If you’re planning a shower, birthday party, reunion, or other gathering, please review the following guidelines.

One Event Per Day

To ensure adequate support and minimize scheduling conflicts, we limit usage to one event per day per area of the facility (e.g., Fellowship Hall, Sanctuary, Kitchen).

Sundays are generally unavailable for outside events due to our worship services and church programming. Blackout dates include: the first weekend in March, Palm Sunday weekend, Easter weekend, the weekends before and after Vacation Bible School, December 1–26.

Please check our church calendar to explore potential dates:

Submit an Event Request

Use the form below to request general events in the main church building or chapel.

👉 Submit Your Event Request

Submitting the form does not guarantee a reservation. Our team will review your request and contact you to confirm details.

Note: This form does not apply to weddings or events at The CROSS Center. Those require separate request processes, outlined below.

Church & Ministry Priority

Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church reserves the right to prioritize ministry needs (such as funerals or disaster response), which may require relocating or adjusting previously scheduled events. This is rare, and we deeply appreciate your understanding that we are, first and foremost, a ministry space.

We truly love being able to share our building for all kinds of events and will always make every effort to relocate your gathering to a suitable space if needed.

Fees & Facilities

Some events may be subject to a facility use fee depending on needs like A/V, setup, cleanup, or staff support. Fees are assessed on a case-by-case basis, and you will be notified after your request is reviewed.

Fees may apply for:

  • Sound or video technician support

  • Additional cleaning

  • Event staff support

Cleanup Expectations

All groups are responsible for cleanup unless special arrangements are made. This includes:

  • Putting all furniture and items back in their original location

  • Removing trash and placing it in the dumpster behind the church

  • Restoring the room to its original condition

If you would prefer not to handle cleanup yourself, cleaning services can be arranged for a fee. Please indicate this in your request form, and we will follow up with availability and pricing.

Please Note:

  • Setup and A/V support are not guaranteed and depend on available staff, equipment, and room layout.

  • Please report any damages or concerns to the church office.

  • If minors are present, adequate adult supervision must be provided throughout the event.

  • Facility use fees may apply depending on the event’s scope, and you will be contacted by church staff with any applicable details.
