You now have the option to worship both in-person and online! Each week we offer in-person worship at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 am.

Seating will be limited at our in-person services so you’ll need to save a seat to attend. You can save a seat beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Mondays.

We want to provide a safe, positive, and God-honoring experience for you as we begin meeting together in-person again.

Here is what you can expect:

Save your seat:

Seating is limited, so save your seat(s) at You can save seats beginning at 10am the Monday before each weekend. If you’d like to receive a text reminder just before the reservation system opens, please text SEAT to (502) 410-3343.

If you have any issues with our online save a seat system, please call the church office at (859) 873-1967.

Before you attend:

If you are sick or have been sick within 24 hours, please participate in services from home through our online worship on Facebook and LiveStream. Our volunteers will be happy to take your temperature when you arrive at church, but we encourage you to do this at home before coming to church and to not attend if you or anyone in your family is running a fever.

If you have a health condition that makes you more vulnerable or if you are over the age of 65, we would encourage you to participate from home at this time. You can visit the Center for Disease Control’s website to read more about who is at a higher risk.

Our precautions and protocol:

For those who are healthy and feel comfortable attending, we ask you to wear a mask during your visit as a courtesy to others. Our volunteers and staff will be wearing masks. If you do not have your own mask, we will have masks available. We will also have plenty of hand sanitizer available. Bathrooms will operate with social distancing in mind, with only one person or family unit (common household) allowed in at a time.

Our team will clean common area surfaces before, between, and after services. Bibles, hymnals, and pencils have been removed from the Sanctuary, so we ask that you bring your Bible and a pen or pencil with you. Water fountains will not be available, so you may also want to bring a bottle of water.

Seating in the Sanctuary will be marked, blocked, and/or spaced to enable appropriate social distancing. Seating will be assigned to allow us to fit in as many people as possible while allowing for social distancing. An usher will lead you to your seat once you check-in at the door. We ask that you only sit with those in your common household or with those in your “bubble.” We will forgo our traditional greeting time and offer a touchless drop-off spot for offering. We will give dismissal direction at the end of service so we can allow everyone to leave in an orderly and distanced fashion. We ask you to avoid handshakes and hugs and maintain a 6-foot distance from others. It is important to remember that while you may be comfortable with physical contact, others may not. Please be respectful and considerate of each person’s comfort level.

In addition to these adjustments, there may be others. Please look for signage, utilize and listen to our volunteers, read the screens, and listen to any direction given from the stage.

Other Sunday Ministries:

Our children’s classes and nursery are not available at this time. All children are welcome to attend the main worship service with their families. Adult Sunday School classes are meeting, some in person and some via Zoom. Please contact your teacher to find out how and when your class is meeting.

Online Worship: We will continue to offer our service experience through LiveStream and Facebook Live. We will also continue to offer our children’s classes online on Sundays at 9am and 9:30am. As this is all subject to change as we receive more direction and information, we encourage you to connect with us on social media (@forksbaptist) and return to this webpage for any and all updates.

Thank you so much for being a part of our Forks Family! We’re so excited to see you!
