Operation Christmas Child

It’s time to start collecting for our OCC shoeboxes.  A list of suggested items follows:  wooden spoons, pot holders, kazoos, whistles, harmonicas, small tool sets, rope, jewelry, duct tape, jump ropes, small hammers, small dolls/Barbie dolls, slinkys, yo-yos, cars/trucks, flip-flops, sunglasses, plastic cups, calculators w/batteries, school supplies, underwear, socks, hairbrushes, barrettes, headbands, scrunchies, hats, balls, t-shirts, ponchos, tape measure, coloring books, stuffed animals, games, puzzles, round point scissors.

These can be left in the Women’s Ministry containers in the foyer or fellowship hall.  You can also fill your own Rubbermaid and bring the items to the church to be sorted and prepared.  We would like to have all items at the church no later than November 1 to eliminate a lot of last-minute chaos.

All hygiene items i.e., soap, washcloth, toothbrush, and comb are supplied by the Women’s Ministry.  Liquids, candy, gum, or toothpaste are not allowed.

Thank you so much for participating in this wonderful project to show Jesus’ love to children worldwide.
