Ever wonder God’s dreams for your marriage? With so many pressures and threats to marriages, couples need tools to strengthen and support the covenant relationship. The Marriage Workshop provides an innovative 5-step approach for couples to develop a biblically-based prevention plan. This is an opportunity for you and your spouse to spend time
We will meet in the Student Ministry room on the Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church CROSS Center second floor.
Childcare is available from our Jamaica Mission Team. Please note your need at registration. The workshop is offered at no cost to you and your spouse,
Couples are strongly encouraged to plan a date night after the session concludes at 5:30 p.m. (Childcare is not available from the church for the date night.)Guest facilitator: Joy Harris. Joy is a mental health professional, counselor, and John Maxwell Certified Coach. She will be sharing communication tools and other resources to strengthen the relationship. (Learn more about Joy.)
Here are a few additional things about the upcoming event:
- Come prepared to have fun, learn, and explore God’s plan for marriage.
- Bring a few pictures of you and your spouse or something special that reminds you of a great memory. (e.g., engagement, wedding, vacations, graduations, celebrations, reunions, other special events.)
- Plan a date for you and your spouse following the afternoon session. Here are a few links for date night ideas:
- Dress comfortably.
- Parking is available in the back of the church in the Cross Center parking lot. Enter the Cross Center double doors and follow the signs to the Student Ministry area.
