Marriage Workshop

5 Steps to a God-Centered Covenant Plan for Marriage

Facilitated by Dr. Melissa E. Wainwright
Offered at no cost to you and your spouse!
Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Ever wonder God’s dreams for your marriage? With so many pressures and threats to marriages, couples need tools to strengthen and support the covenant relationship. The Marriage Workshop provides an innovative 5-step approach for couples to develop a biblically-based prevention plan. This is an opportunity for you and your spouse to spend time togther, exploring God’s plan for your marriage. Sessions provide a variety of activities to discover, dream, and design the “happily ever after” God intended for marriage. At the end of the workshop, couples leave with a plan to implement immediately and tools to strengthen the covenant relationship in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Participants develop plans to drop in prayer, cover the relationship in biblical principles, and hold on to the promises of God’s Word regarding marriage.

We will meet in the Student Ministry room on the Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church CROSS Center second floor.

Childcare is available from our Jamaica Mission Team. Please note your need at registration. The workshop is offered at no cost to you and your spouse, however monetary donations will be taken for childcare.

Couples are strongly encouraged to plan a date night after the session concludes at 5:30 p.m. (Childcare is not available from the church for the date night.)

Guest facilitator: Joy Harris. Joy is a mental health professional, counselor, and John Maxwell Certified Coach.  She will be sharing communication tools and other resources to strengthen the relationship. (Learn more about Joy.)
