I Need Help

How Can We Help?

We are working to meet both the spiritual and the physical needs of those in our community.

As we navigate this COVID-19 crisis, almost all of us have a need for one thing or another. Whether that need is for prayer, for spiritual nourishment, or for food or financial assistance, we want to help.

Please scroll through our resources below and let us know how we can meet your need.

We want to help those who have needs, and we also want to provide avenues for healthy people to provide help.

Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church Resources for Help

Online Worship

While we can’t meet together in person, we are still meeting together online. We offer Sunday Worship at 11am each Sunday and an online Devotional & Prayer each Wednesday at 6pm.

Church Service CDs

We are blessed to be able to continue holding church services online on Sundays and Wednesdays. If you or someone you know is not able to access our online services, please let us know.

We all need prayer at all times and certainly right now. If you have a specific prayer need you’d like to us to pray for or would like to pray with someone over the phone, please let us know.

This crisis has taken an emotional toll on all of us. If you would like to speak to a Pastor or Counselor, we have both over the phone and video counseling sessions available free of charge.

Grocery/Supply Runs

We know that many in the high-risk categories for COVID-19 are unable to go to the grocery store or get supplies. Do you need someone to pick up your groceries or run errands for you? We can help!

Financial Assistance

This pandemic has impacted the finances of many people and families in our area. Our Benevolence Program offers financial assistance to qualified applicants to help pay their rent, mortgage, or other bills.

Food Pantry

Our Manna House Food Pantry serves families facing a food emergency in our area. The pantry is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. We are offering curbside service right now.

Financial Assistance

We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has made making ends meet difficult for many people. If you need financial assistance, please fill out our online application. Our Benevolence Committee will then look at your application and see how we might be able to help.

Please fill out and submit the form as early as possible so that there is adequate time to process your request. Processing may take several days to over a week. You will be notified first once the Benevolence Committee has made it’s decision. We make a special effort to keep things confidential, so the church office is not notified of the status of your application.

Manna House Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry, called the Manna House, operates out of the basement of our parsonage. During the COVID-19 crisis, we are offering curbside service. Instead of entering the pantry to shop, you will pull into the parking lot of the Forks Chapel (some know it as the “Old Church”) and our volunteers will set out pre-packed bags for you to pick up.

The Manna House is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 9:00am to 10:30am.

Upcoming open dates are:

  • April 25, 9:00-10:30am
  • May 9, 9:00-10:30am
  • May 23, 9:00-10:30am
