***Proven program that has developed many players & parent recommendations

This is basketball player development at its best: Skills Training with Pros & Competitive league play in a Christ Centered environment. Take your game to another level training with pros and learning the game/fundamentals. Our trainers reputation among parents/players is second to none when it comes to connecting to kids, teaching the game, demonstrating skills at a high level, teaching life skills & building confidence. You will not have an opportunity to train & learn from pros in youth rec leagues like this! Our lead trainers have played professionally in 14 countries & train youth to pros full time through Nike Basketball & various training contracts. So players will be training, learning & having FUN with the same trainers who train Overseas & NBA pros. Please refer to our testimonial page to see what other Pros, Parents, Coaches & Players are saying about our program.

Our philosophy is different from most rec leagues because we focus on player development rather then just traditional team practices. Youth basketball is all about teaching kids skills & basketball IQ at the development ages of 5-17. We will not be focusing on running plays but rather teaching kids how to play.

Our goal is to help each player develop more confidence in their skills and increase their Basketball IQ through game experience. Our mission is to “Invest, Teach, Inspire” through the game of Basketball.

*The Hoops for Christ league is led by the Nike Basketball Director of Kentucky
*The Hoops for Christ league offers training, instruction, coaching and encouragement from collegiate and professional basketball players. The training staff teaches the fundamentals of the game of basketball and focuses player development.
*The Hoops for Christ league teaches confidence building skills

The Hoops for Christ league offers a staff that includes:

*Professional trainers that are former High School, Collegiate and professional basketball players (playing in 14 countries) and a college skill development coach.
*The Hoops for Christ staff have trained: NBA and professional overseas level players, collegiate level players, High School level players and youth basketball players.

Our focus is on the development of each child spiritually, in character, confidence & skill level. We offer competitive league games as a secondary focus for players to work on the skills they’ve been learning in the training sessions, devotionals & confidence seminars. Confidence building seminars include helping young players handle anxiety, fear of failure, frustration, lack of aggression and many other issues that are common among young athletes in youth sports.

These leagues and format have been proven with positive feedback from parents expressing how their children have a new sense of the game of basketball and new developed sense of confidence on and off the court.
