Groups are a place to meet people, experience community, and grow spiritually. We have groups for all ages that meet at different times and locations throughout the week. Sign-ups for our Winter/Spring 2022 groups are open now.
We offer four types of groups: Growth Groups, Interest Groups, Support Groups, and Table Groups.
Growth Groups are seasonal small groups who meet to study the Bible together. Studies are available on many different topics and for men and women of all ages. Even though we all could read and study the Bible individually, we learn so much more when we read and study the Bible together in a group.
Interest Groups are people with similar interests or in a similar life stage gathering together to have fun and build deeper relationships. If you want to build meaningful relationships, sharing in a hobby or time of fellowship is a great way to start. It is also one of the best ways to invite others into the Forks family.
Support Groups are designed to provide small group opportunities to share and interact with others going through similar issues, and for you to find the encouragement and biblical support that you need. Our goal is to provide a place of comfort, strength, support and hope for people as they work through their personal struggles.
Table Groups meet together in homes around the table to share a meal and have a discussion about the most recent sermon. They are a fun and non-threatening way to get to know others. Each Table Group has a leader who invites participants to join their group. If you haven’t been invited to a Table Group, you are welcome to host and create your own Table Group.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
A group of ladies at the Forks of Elkhorn Church have joined together at the Cross Center to form a “Prayer Shawl Ministry.” These ladies meet once a month on the third Friday at 10am to share in this service. The shawls can either be knitted or crocheted in any design or color of their choice. We will not know who the recipient of the shawl will be while we are making them but God knows and we will be praying for that person while we are working. The person may need the comfort of healing, grief, and many other problems so we are praying that they will feel God’s warmth and know that they are being loved and prayed for, with this shawl. Prayer Shawl Ministry Leader: Suann McCollum Ongoing for Women 3rd Friday of each month at 10am CROSS Center Lobby Childcare is not available. Sign up for this group at forksbaptist.org/groupsignup
