The Easter Blitz is back! We’re excited to get out in the community and invite our neighbors to our Easter and Holy Week services.
What is the Easter Blitz?
During our Easter Blitz, church members deliver bags with an invitation to our Easter services, information about our church, and a small gift to homes in our surrounding communities.
How can you help?
1. Pack Bags: We need people to pack the bags that will be taken to homes. We’ll meet together on Sunday night, March 26, at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall to pack bags together. Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in this activity.
2. Donate Candy: We like to include some small candies (mints, lifesavers, and other hard candies) in each bag. If you’re not able to come pack bags or go out delivering bags, would you consider donating candy? You can drop off your donations at the Welcome Center.
3. Deliver Bags: Beginning Monday, March 27, we’ll deliver the Blitz bags to homes. Please meet at the church at 6pm to pick up your bags and receive instructions along with your neighborhood assignment. (If you’d prefer to take your bags with you after the packing party on Sunday night, please let us know before March 26 so we can plan for that. If you’d like to deliver bags but can’t come on Monday, please let us know and we will make arrangements for you. You can send an email to office@forksbaptist.org or call the church office at (859) 873-1967.)
