GAP Mission Trip

God’s Appalachian Partnership is celebrating 25 years on June 22! You’re invited to come down to McDowell KY for the celebration featuring our own Ol’ Elkhorn Pickers Club.
Caring Hearts Ministry
The Caring Hearts Ministry exists to provide love, encouragement, and support to Forks Family shut-ins, seniors, caregivers, military members, and veterans.
Manna House Food Pantry
Manna House is open to anyone in our community who faces a food emergency.
We offer clients the opportunity to “shop” twice a month in the food pantry located in the Parsonage Basement, across the street from the Main Church Building.

We need volunteers to:
- Help sorts and stock items during the week
- Shop for items
- Greet & help distribute food during our Saturday hours

- ravioli
- spaghetti O’s

- spaghetti sauce

Visitation
On the first Monday evening of each month our pastors and church members visit people in the community. Visits are made to church guests, church members, those in the hospital or in a nursing home, shut-ins, etc. If you would like to serve in this important outreach ministry, please join us on the first Monday of each month at 6pm in the church office or send us an email to let us know you’d like to get involved.
The CROSS Center
We are blessed to offer the CROSS Center Recreation Center to our community. The CROSS in CROSS Center stands for “Christian Recreation Outreach Strengthening Souls.” We want every person that comes through our doors to feel the warmth of the Holy Spirit. Our CROSS Center volunteers are a key part of this and we are always looking for people to serve. If you would be interested in serving at the CROSS Center or just seeing where you might fit in, send us an email.
God’s Appalachian Partnership
The Missions Committee sponsors several trips each year to help out this great ministry in McDowell, KY.
God’s Appalachian Partnership (GAP) serves an average of 325 families in the McDowell area each month.
