I am amazed at how quickly the year is passing. Hard to believe that December 2017 is here already. We are all so busy getting ready for the celebrations that time will slip away even faster. Let’s slow down and ponder on the message of Christmas and the hope that it brings to those who are willing to listen. The message of hope, peace, joy and love has and continues to bring great comfort to the world. If only all the world would embrace this message! That is my prayer as we march through this Christmas season, that all the world would know the un-surpassing love of Jesus Christ who came to us in the form of a small child, but who was a King for all the ages. Jesus, the Lord of all creation! What a joy it is to serve with a group of believers who have experienced His love and are so willing to share it with others. I and my family are blessed beyond measure to be part of this great congregation. I pray you have a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe holiday season. We love you!
Please check the calendar of events for December. You will want to make a special effort to be present as we celebrate the Chrismon service on the evening of the 3rd; the Church Choir program with Orchestra during the morning services of the 10th followed that evening by our Children’s choir program; our Christmas dinner on evening of the 17th; and to close out the Christmas season with Communion on the morning of Christmas Eve during the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. You will be blessed by all of these special times of worship together. It is a busy time, but I hope you take time out of your busy schedule to join us for all of our worship services together.
Don’t forget to bring your non-perishable food items for the Manna House to share as part of the Chrismon service on the 3rd.
