Children's Ministry

Mission Statement

To provide a safe, loving environment for children that encourages a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, Bible study, discipleship training mission study, fellowship activities and musical opportunities.

Please see the posted schedule in the Children's Worship Center of times children may check out books. Children checking out books must have their parent's signature of approval on file with Barbara Burch. ENJOY!!

Weekly Activities

Sunday - Bible Study and Children's Church

Birth - 1 year olds & 1-2 year olds in Nursery area on first floor

3 year olds in basement in corner room next to the Children's Worship Center

4 year olds - 2nd grade - in basement for both Bible Study and Children's Church @ 8:30 and 11 AM

Sunday - 5:30 PM (Postponed until fall.)

Cherub Choir (4 year olds - first grade) - led by Whitney Valentine and Jennifer Gwinn in the Children's Worship Center

Young Musicians (2nd - 5th grades) - led by Bill Adcock, Lori Smith, and Virginia Hill in Adult Choir room

Sunday - 6:30 PM

WEE Learn/1-2 year olds
Rhyme and Reason TeamKID/3-5 year olds
1st-3rd grades -- Bible Skills, Drills, & Thrills (Learning books of Old Testament)
4th-5th grades -- High Octane

Wednesday - 5:45 PM

Bible Skills, Drills & Thrills -- 4th - 6th Graders -- In 3rd-5th Grade Classroom

Wednesday - 6:30 PM -- Mission Friends, C.i.A., and Kids on Mission

Upcoming Events

July 8 - 11 -- Express Camp @ Jonathan Creek -- 3rd - 6th Graders -- Cost $100 Worship and activities at Jonathan Creek are led by trained staff and worship leaders (these are the same leaders at youth camps). There are many planned activities as well as free time with the Forks group. For more information, contact Miss Mary. Visit the camp website at http://www.crossingcamps.org.

July 12 -- High Octane trip to Kings Island -- All parents and siblings welcome. Leave the church at 7:30 AM.
